Me, Myself and I the death of a loving community
Every since we started this campaign we’ve faced many challenges and even greater adversity. At times it seems as if people lack compassion for other people, but this can’t be true. In fact, I know that there are many like us around the world who desire to usher in positive change for all.
The question is where are they? In Chicago, IL we are developing a program to empower young people in the Englewood community. We have a great need for skilled professionals who have technological, creative arts, and vocational skills to volunteer but are having a challenge finding them.
Everyday, we hear on the news about the high unemployment, increase of incarceration, early childhood pregnancy, massive amounts of kids dropping out of school and large numbers of young people being killed, but when we are called to action many of us stay home.
